Chair’s Foreword
I am delighted to welcome you to the inaugural CPA Annual Dinner.
Following 118 successful Annual Lunches, we are pleased to have added this evening keynote event to the Association’s calendar. The dinner brings together the City’s property industry and senior policymakers from the City of London Corporation to celebrate the City’s built environment and the vital role it plays in creating a Destination City.
To support the Policy Chairman’s vision for a Square Mile that is a world-leading destination for workers, visitors and residents – tonight we are launching ‘Visualising Destination City.’ This new paper features leading voices from the City’s property, political and cultural sectors: exploring how together we can make a City which is more accessible, opening and welcoming. It includes a fantastic map produced by DSDHA, capturing the key transport and cultural connections across the City alongside footfall, major office development and new public realm schemes.
Destination City aims to reinvigorate the City’s vibrancy and drive economic growth. The CPA is proud to play our part and champion a City that is economically, environmentally and socially resilient.
Have a wonderful evening.
