Environmental Impact

The CPA has consciously reduced the environmental impact of this event by working in partnership with a venue that also recognises the importance of sustainable practices.

The Pan Pacific Hotel’s restaurants source 95% of ingredients locally within the UK to ensure its carbon footprint is kept to a minimum. It works closely with Nurtured in Norfolk to grow special Asian ingredients in the UK, including fish mint. All of the Pan Pacific’s restaurants, bars and public spaces have energy efficient lighting and air conditioning systems, incorporating a heat recovery system that allows the hotel to regulate speed and temperature depending on the occupancy.

The CPA has decided not to use fresh cut flowers for table decorations for tonight’s event. Instead, table centres are reusable LED cordless battery lamps. Additionally, the CPA is minimising our use of paper by creating a digital brochure and digital signage at the event.
